are Prodeco, MicroPanel & Marbrex?
Prodeco, MicroPanel & Marbrex are elegant
upvc decorative internal panelling systems for
walls and ceilings. It provides an attractive,
practical and cost effective alternative to
tiling and other forms of decoration.
Both
rot proof and waterproof, Prodeco, MicroPanel
& Marbrex is warm to the touch and so
reduces condensation, mould and staining.
The boards fit together with a waterproof
tongue and groove joint that does not require
grouting. This produces a surface that is
easy to clean, will not harbour germs and
is therefore ideal for use in areas of high
humidity.
Prodeco,
MicroPanel & Marbrex are suitable for
a variety of commercial, industrial and domestic
applications. These include changing areas
and shower blocks, kitchens and general food
preparation areas, cafes and shops, domestic
bathrooms and kitchens, in fact any location
where hygiene and easy cleaning are important.
Prodeco,
MicroPanel & Marbrex are also a convenient
solution for large areas providing a quick
fix decorative effect, which requires little
maintenance. It is quick and easy to install,
taking roughly 40% of the time of an equivalent
area in tiling, and can be fixed directly
to flat walls or over existing tiles using
silicon adhesive. Prodeco, MicroPanel &
Marbrex can also be installed over damaged,
irregular or damp substrates using battens
over a damp proof breather membrane. A comprehensive
range of corner and joint trims ensures a
professional finish.
Prodeco
& Marbrex are 10mm thick hollow upvc box
construction, varying in width from 250mm
to 375mm, and in length from 2.6m to 4m depending
on style. Prodeco, MicroPanel & Marbrex
assist in providing insulation to the room,
particularly on outside walls, and reduces
condensation. The wide range of designs allows
different effects and textures to be achieved.
Prodeco,
MicroPanel & Marbrex achieve Class 1Y
fire rating and conforms to the requirements
of the Food Safety Act 1990 and General Hygiene
Regulations 1995. No maintenance is required
other than a wipe down with soapy water.
We

in refurbishing bathrooms and en suite shower
rooms as a faster, more hygienic and decoratively
superior alternative to ceramic wall tiling.
Prodeco, MicroPanel & Marbrex particularly
avoids the mould and bacterial discolouration
of tile grout in shower enclosures where ceramic
tiles were previously in use.
